Health Systems Planning

We strive to be a rural voice for health policy development, maintain awareness about community health needs, and help local groups to design & implement solutions to address gaps in the current delivery system.

NEON performs a number of activities to strengthen our local health care system. We work to accomplish our goals by researching and being active in health policy, Health Information Technology (HIT) and by obtaining valuable input from our community through focus groups and personal interviews and by working with local health professionals and community partners.

Currently NEON is focusing on:

• Working with health providers to increase the capacity in our local health delivery system infrastructure

• Researching Health Information Technology (HIT) opportunities and design

• Community Health Assessments

• Technical Assistance to Safety Net Clinics

• Grant Project Partnership Development

• Data collection & evaluation
