About The Event

Many caregivers, THWs, and other professionals are affected by many dimensions of compassion fatigue, some of which include spirituality and worldview, cognitive abilities and emotional responses, and identity, sense of self-worth, and overall morale. This training will help individuals gain an understanding of the similarities and differences between burnout, compassion fatigue, and moral distress, and how these pertain to addiction. Participants will be able to conduct personal risk and resiliency assessments as well as develop transition rituals and other self-care practices.

This training offers 3 THW and MHACBO CEU contact hours.

Facilitator: Lisa Ladendorff, LCSW
