This training will provide 3 CEU contact hours and will help CHWs and service professionals to sharpen their skills in helping people move toward positive changes and better health. Participants will get to apply their MI skills in a hands-on practice environment with coaching and support.

About The Event

The NEON training team presents a special opportunity for some hands on practice that will help you to sharpen your motivational interviewing skills! Build confidence in your communication skills and ability to help people move toward positive changes and better health. With coaching and support you will enhance your active listening skills such as open-ended questions, affirmations, and reflection, and learn to recognize, elicit and sustain change talk that helps people make progress toward their goals. Earn 3 CEUs for participation. Cost is $25, payable online at registration.
