Renewing the Oregon Health Plan (OHP)

It's time to renew your Oregon Health Plan (OHP) and other Medicaid benefits! Oregon is working to keep as many people protected as possible. Most people will keep their benefits, and there are other options for people who need them. But you need to take action.

  • Make sure your address is up-to-date.

  • Watch for a letter from the state of Oregon, and do what it asks right away.

  • Free help is available in many languages. Go to KeepCovered.Oregon.gov or call NEON at 541-624-5101 to learn more.

EOCCO Benefits: Health Related Social Needs (HRSN)

What are Health-related social needs?

Health-related social needs (HRSN) are benefits meant to assist EOCCO members in navigating challenging weather conditions, major life transitions that may impact their ability to secure a safe place to live, and the affordability of quality food. Some EOCCO members may be able to get the following services:

Climate services

Climate supports include devices to keep members healthy during extreme weather. These include: -Air conditioners to keep cool -Air-filtration devices to clean the air -Portable heaters to keep warm -Mini-refrigeration units to safely store medicines the need refrigeration -Portable power supplies to keep medical devices running if you have a power outage

Housing services

As of November 1, 2024, eligible EOCCO members may be able to get housing-related supports and services at no cost. This is not an emergency housing support program and could take 30-60 days before services are delivered. Here are things that the benefit may cover: -Rent and utility assistance for up to 6 months (past or current due) -Utility set up fees -Storage fees for up to 6 months -Tenancy services -Medically necessary home modifications and remediation

Nutrition services

As of January 1, 2025, eligible EOCCO members may be able to get Medically Tailored Meals (MTM). To be eligible, members must first meet all the following criteria: -Be an EOCCO member with EOCCO medical coverage -Have an HRSN-eligible social risk factor -Have an HRSN-eligible clinical risk factor -Experiencing food insecurity Who is a candidate for MTM? -Members recently discharged from hospital setting -Members with new medical diagnosis -Members unable to prepare meals independently -Members needing additional support managing health condition(s) Before requesting medically tailored meals, please follow these steps: 1. Schedule a visit with your primary care provider (PCP) and get a referral to a registered dietician. 2. Visit with registered dietician and get an MTM assessment. 3. Request MTM
