Community Health

Meeting the Needs of the Local Community

NEON works in partnership with local and state Public Health partners to address social determinants of health and a variety of community concerns, with an emphasis on reaching our most underserved community members.

Our team of trained and certified Community Health Workers (CHWs) and Health Care Interpreters (HCIs) can help individuals and families to access services and resources they need.

Health Care Interpreter Services

NEON Health Care Interpreters accompany patients to their medical, dental, and other appointments to provide interpretation in Marshallese.

Contact the NEON Community Health Team for help accessing services and resources:

We provide services and support in English, Spanish, Marshallese, Chuukese, and Pohnpeian. Our CHWs are caring individuals who want to learn about what's important to you and your family. As they learn about your goals and needs, they can help you connect with programs or other resources that help you achieve overall health and well-being.
